About the Role: 

 

Together with a diverse staff of psychiatrists, psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners, and patient care technicians, our therapists will provide compassionate care through a variety of cutting-edge interventional treatment options.

 

What you will be responsible for as a Therapist with MHS
 

  • Performing comprehensive biopsychosocial evaluations
  • Developing treatment plans collaboratively with patients
  • Providing psychotherapy whilst monitoring and continuously improving patient outcomes
  • Demonstrating strong computer skills including fluency in Electronic Medical Records, Microsoft Suite, and videoconferencing platforms
  • Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborating with other providers effectively in a treatment team setting
  • Maintaining a positive and flexible attitude and contributing to our culture of respect and safety
  • Demonstrating the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Submitting timely and accurate clinical documentation via our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

 

The Compensation/Benefits we offer our therapist:

 

  • Top compensation between $87,753.00 to $151,000.00 
  • Salaried W-2 position with quarterly bonus potential based on individual productivity.

  • A Current and Active California License to practice as an independent clinical psychologist/psychotherapist: PhD/PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC
  • 2+ years of post-licensure experience providing psychotherapy to ethnically and culturally diverse adult and/or child and adolescent populations; experience with providing teletherapy is also helpful
  • Recent clinical experience providing individual psychotherapy (must be within the past two years)
  • Training and experience in utilizing one or more current evidence-based modalities of psychotherapy (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Seeking Safety, EMDR, Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, etc.)
  • [Psychologists Only] Graduate of an APA-Accredited Doctoral Program OR completion of an APA-Accredited Internship OR completion of an APA-Accredited Postdoctoral Program
